He regularly appears before the Gauhati High Court, District Courts, and specialized tribunals (DRT, NCLT), handling cases ranging from narcotics offences and property disputes to banking litigation and arbitration. His trial experience includes complex criminal proceedings under IPC, NDPS Act, and Prevention of Corruption Act, as well as civil suits involving contracts, land titles, and service matters.

Before establishing Mitra & Mitra's Law Chamber, Mr. Mitra trained under legal luminaries Late S.K. Sen and Shri Vijay Dewan, developing his distinctive approach that balances rigorous legal analysis with client-centric solutions.
